Where Discovery Becomes Diagnostic.
The Molecular Imaging Research Centre has a number of partners with whom we work closely on research projects and clinical studies. We also have several manufacturers that supply state-of-the-art technology that helps us continue our work.
The MIRC works in partnership with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) to deliver non-standard PET-CT imaging and bespoke clinical studies. This collaboration enables the development and execution of advanced imaging protocols beyond routine clinical practice, supporting innovative research, early-phase clinical evaluation, and translational studies within a regulated NHS environment.
The Daisy Appeal is partnering with King’s College London to deliver impactful research and to strategically align expertise, infrastructure, and ambition in support of a shared vision to strengthen and advance the radiopharmaceutical landscape in the UK. This collaboration is focused on enabling high-quality translational research and fostering long-term capacity and innovation within the sector.
LabLogic Systems is a manufacturer of instrumentation and software to the Life Science, PET/Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Safety sectors. We specialise in the detection and measurement of radioactivity.
The MIRC maintains a Show Site Agreement with GE HealthCare, under which our facilities are designated as an exemplar site for the demonstration of GE HealthCare technologies. This agreement enables GE HealthCare to host customers at MIRC to showcase the practical implementation, performance, and integration of their systems within a fully operational research and clinical environment. The partnership reflects the advanced capabilities of MIRC’s infrastructure and expertise, and supports knowledge exchange by providing visitors with real-world insight into best-practice molecular imaging workflows.
