Where Discovery Becomes Diagnostic.
The Molecular Imaging Research Centre (MIRC) partners with a number of academic groups, such as the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, to deliver non-standard PET-CT imaging and bespoke patient-based studies.
We collaborate with clinical investigators to translate radiopharmaceutical innovations into clinical studies. Engaging with us early on within your research process enables collaboration, helping to strengthen grant applications and supports our partners to secure funding.
Our centre houses leading expert scientists in radiochemistry, who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and are available to support, lead or facilitate your research projects and clinical trial delivery. Dr Louis Allott, Radiochemistry Consultant at Radiopharmium Ltd and Lecturer in Radiochemistry and Molecular Imaging at the Hull York Medical School commented, ’The Daisy MIRC is a fantastic facility, we’re privileged to have this available to support partners, organisations and academia.’ Visit the team page to read more about our leading professionals, their knowledge and experience in the field.
Through our advanced Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Suite we provide a fully compliant environment for clinical production of radiopharmaceuticals, supporting routine manufacture as well as first-in-human and early-phase clinical studies. Designed to meet the current GMP requirements, it enables the reliable translation of radiopharmaceutical processes into regulated clinical supply.
